Spanish I/Spanish II  (This position has been filled for the 2020-2021 academic year.)

This position requires availability to offer a once a week instructional class time on Monday mornings from approximately 8:00-12:30 for two 1.5 hour high school classes, Spanish 1 and Spanish 2. Instructors offer classroom teaching once a week but follow up with emails and quiz assignments during the school week. They are also available by email (to some degree) for questions from students. Tuition is paid per class/per student so instructors set their own minimum enrollment requirements.  Enrollment is opened with the expectation that a class will fill to each instructor's minimum. Most instructors require between 5-10 students to teach a class. Students pay $305 + supply fees for each class for the academic year.  There is an option to offer a Spanish 3 course if desired.  WAC leadership will discuss class structure, content, and curriculum with interested candidates.

Middle School English  (This position has been filled for the 2020-2021 academic year.)

This position requires availability to offer a once a week instructional class time on Monday mornings from approximately 8:00-12:30 for one or two 1 or 1.5 hour middle school classes, Intro to English and Intermediate English. Instructors offer classroom teaching once a week but are available by email (to some degree) for questions from students. Tuition is paid per class/per student so instructors set their own minimum enrollment requirements.  Enrollment is opened with the expectation that a class will fill to each instructor's minimum.  Most instructors require between 5 and 10 students to teach a class. Students pay between $250-$280 + supply fees for each class for the academic year. WAC leadership will discuss class structure, content, and curriculum with interested candidates.

 

High School English   (This position has been filled for the 2020-2021 academic year.)

This position requires availability to offer a once a week instructional class time on Monday mornings from approximately 8:00-12:30 for two 1.5 hour high school classes, English 1/2 and English 3/4. Instructors offer classroom teaching once a week but are available by email (to some degree) for questions from students. Tuition is paid per class/per student so instructors set their own minimum enrollment requirements.  Enrollment is opened with the expectation that a class will fill to each instructor's minimum. Most instructors require between 5-10 students to teach a class. Students pay $305 + supply fees for each class for the academic year.  Interested persons must have an educational background in English or humanities. WAC leadership will discuss class structure, content, and curriculum with interested candidates.

Most instructors require between 5-10 students to teach a class. Students pay between $250-$280 + supply fees for each class for the academic year.
